Rockstar's pre-order materials describe Grand Theft Auto VI as a single-player experience, confirming November 19 ships without a multiplayer mode. Leakers say GTA 6 Online could follow in December 2026, though Rockstar has not confirmed a timeline.

GTA 6 Trailer 3: Take-Two CEO Said Late June or Early July, and That Window Is Now
Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick told Bloomberg that a third Grand Theft Auto VI trailer would land in the late-June-to-early-July marketing window. Pre-orders opened June 25 with no trailer attached. Two mid-July dates are now being watched closely.

Affiliate link data from IGN's commerce operation showed PS5 outpacing Xbox 8-to-1 on GTA 6 pre-order purchases, roughly 89 percent of the total. Microsoft pushed back, calling the figures misleading while also claiming record Xbox pre-orders of its own.
